What is ISO ISO 22000 ?

Hazard Analysis and Critical Central Point (HACCP) / ISO 22000 Food Safety Management System is a process control system designed to identify and prevent microbial and other hazards in food production and entire food chain. ISO 22000 Principles

The standard approach to ISO 22000 is that specified by the Codex Alimentarius, 1997, and follows 7 basic principles:

  • Establish the corrective action to be taken when monitoring indicates that a particular CCP is not under control.
